Mediterranean Sea 

The extent of the marine heatwaves in both basins is stable. The marine heatwaves are intensifying between, in particular in the western basin where strong categories are developing.

North Atlantic

The extent and intensity of marine heatwaves along the northern European Atlantic coast are stable, ranging from moderate to locally strong.
