COPERNICUS MARINE – DIGITAL – DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF THE OCEAN PLATFORM

The objective of this contract is to develop and maintain a robust and scalable platform that supports the continued growth of the Copernicus Marine service with a view to the development and implementation of the Ocean Digital Twin, in collaboration with the EDITO 2 project.

This contract covers:

• The logical architecture and functional components of the system.
• The operational and management requirements necessary to guarantee the performance, security and sustainability of the system.
• Provision of infrastructure (storage and computing resources).
• The migration strategy for transitioning the existing marine data system and marine information system to the new environment, thereby ensuring continuity of service and improved functionality.

The developments carried out within the framework of this contract will be distributed via open source.
