Marine heatwaves in the Bay of Biscay and between Iceland and the British Isles remain stable, with mostly moderate categories and locally strong categories. Marine heatwaves in the North Sea and Baltic Sea are intensifying, with the area covered by strong categories increasing.

The marine heatwave in the Gulf of Mexico increases in intensity with the extent of strong category intensifying. The marine heatwave in the Carribean Sea to the center of the basin decreases in extent with moderate to strong categories.
The marine heatwave around 30°S is increasing in extent, with few scattered areas in the moderate to strong category.
The marine heatwaves present around 180°W increases in intensity with moderate to strong categories. The marine heatwave off the Canadian coast to the center of the basin decreases in extent with moderate category. The marine heatwave in the Philippine Sea decreases in extent but increases in intensity with strong category.
The marine heatwave around Papouasie New-Guinea to 30°S increases in extent and intensity with moderate to strong categories. The marine heatwave affecting northern New Zealand is increasing in intensity with moderate to strong categories. The marine heatwave affecting western Chile is increasing intensity with moderate to strong categories.
The marine heatwave between 30°E and 120°E is intensifying, with several areas moving into the extreme category. The marine heatwave around 180°W is intensifying, with the appearance of strong categories and locally sever. The marine heatwave between 30°W to 90°W is intensifying with sever to extreme categories.
