The marine heatwave affecting the Mediterranean basin from the Strait of Gibraltar to Italy is decreasing both in area and intensity.
The marine heatwave located south east of Italy is intensifying.

North Atlantic

The marine heatwave off the coasts of Florida and Cuba is intensifying, reaching severe intensities. The strong intensity areas are expanding.

North Pacific

A marine heatwave of moderate to severe intensity is developing South of Alaska.
The marine heatwave around the Philippines is intensifying, reaching strong intensities.

Mediterranean Sea

The marine heatwave affecting the Mediterranean basin from the Strait of Gibraltar to Italy is decreasing both in area and intensity.
The marine heatwave located south east of Italy is intensifying.
South of Crete and Turkey, the marine heatwaves are remaining stable.

North Atlantic

The marine heatwave, which extends from the Bay of Biscay along the northern coast of Spain to the Azores archipelago offshore, is decreasing both in area and intensity.
The marine heatwave off the coasts of Florida and Cuba is intensifying, reaching severe intensities. The strong intensity areas are expanding.
In the center of the basin around 55°W/30°N, the marine heatwave is losing intensity and area.

North Pacific

A marine heatwave of moderate to severe intensity is developing South of Alaska.
The marine heatwave in the Sea of Japan is expanding.
The marine heatwave in the Yellow Sea is decreasing in area and intensity.
The marine heatwave extending across nearly the entire equatorial axis from -10° to 15°N remains generally stable in area but is increasing in intensity off the coast of Central America, with the “strong” and “severe” categories expanding in area and extreme intensity areas developing between 130 and 150°W and 150°E
The marine heatwave around the Philippines is intensifying, reaching strong intensities.
A marine heatwave of moderate to severe intensity is developing East of the Philippines.

South Pacific

The marine heatwave off the southern coast of New Zealand remains stable in terms of area and intensity.

The marine heatwave located between 90°W and 120°W is decreasing on its eastern side but is increasing in intensity.

Southern Ocean

The marine heatwave, extending from 50°E to 90°E in longitude and 45°S to 60°S in latitude, remains stable in both extent and intensity, with conditions still ranging from moderate to strong.
