North Atlantic (Europe region): Heatwaves off the Brittany coast and south of the British Isles are expanding and intensifying (strong category). The Norwegian Sea heatwave remains extensive with more areas reaching strong intensity.
Tropical Atlantic: Heatwaves in the Gulf of Mexico and south of Cuba remain stable in size but weaken in intensity. East of Florida, heatwaves shrink in size but grow stronger, reaching strong and locally severe levels.
Tropical and North Pacific: Around Indonesia, the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea, heatwaves are decreasing in size and intensity. In the North Pacific, the central basin near 30°N and the Sea of Japan heatwaves contract and weaken, while the Sea of Okhotsk heatwave expands and intensifies to extreme levels locally.
Indian Ocean: The heatwave in the Bay of Bengal is reducing in both extent and intensity.

The marine heatwave off the Brittany coast and south of the British Isles is increasing in both extent and intensity, with the emergence of the strong category. The marine heatwave in the Norwegian Sea persists in spatial extent, with an increase in the area affected by strong categories.

The marine heatwave in the Gulf of Mexico and south of Cuba persists in extent but decreases in intensity, with moderate and locally strong categories observed. The marine heatwave east of Florida is decreasing in extent but increasing in intensity, with the emergence of strong and locally severe categories.
The marine heatwave around Indonesia, the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea is decreasing in both extent and intensity, with the presence of moderate and locally strong categories.
The marine heatwave in the central basin around 30°N is decreasing in both extent and intensity, with most of the area falling within the moderate and strong categories. The marine heatwave in the Sea of Okhotsk is increasing in extent, with its intensity shifting to strong and severe categories, and locally reaching the extreme category. The marine heatwave in the Sea of Japan is decreasing in extent, with its intensity shifting to moderate and strong categories.
The marine heatwave in the Bay of Bengal is decreasing in both extent and intensity, with the presence of moderate and locally strong categories.
