Mediterranean Sea

The marine heatwave in the western basin is increasing in intensity and extent, with moderate and locally strong category. The intensity of the marine heatwave in the eastern basin increases, with moderate and strong categories. 

North Atlantic

The marine heatwave in the North Sea, Norway Sea and Baltic Sea increases in extent with moderate to strong categories.

Tropical Atlantic

The intensity of the marine heatwaves around Cuba increases with strong to severe category. The marine heatwave in the Gulf of Mexico and in the center of the basin around 60°W is decreasing in intensity with moderate to strong categories. 

North Pacific

The marine heatwave in the basin between 120°W and 120°E remains stable with moderate to strong, and locally sever categories.  

Tropical Pacific

The marine heatwave off the Mexican coast increases in extent and intensity with moderate to strong categories.
