North Atlantic (European zone) : The marine heatwave extending from the Bay of Biscay along the northern coast of Spain to the Azores archipelago is growing in both area and intensity. Off the coast of Norway, the heatwave is decreasing in both area and intensity.
Mediterranean Sea : Marine heatwaves in the Mediterranean basin are decreasing in both area and intensity.
North Pacific : The marine heatwave extending across nearly the entire equatorial axis from -10° to 15°N is relatively stable in terms of occupied surface but is increasing in intensity.

Marine heatwaves in the Gulf of Mexico are disappearing almost entirely. A moderate-category marine heatwave is developing off the coasts of Florida and Cuba. In the center of the basin, around 55°W/30°N, a strong-category marine heatwave is setting in.
The situation remains stable in the basin, with scattered areas of moderate activity still present.
The marine heatwave near 180°W and 50°N is relatively stable at the surface but is decreasing in intensity; moderate to strong conditions persist. The marine heatwave in the Sea of Japan and the Yellow Sea is spreading across both bodies of water, and intensity is increasing, with conditions mostly reaching severe and strong levels. The marine heatwave extending across nearly the entire equatorial axis from -10° to 15°N is relatively stable at the surface but is increasing in intensity. Areas classified as strong are becoming widespread, reaching severe levels in some places and very locally extreme levels. The marine heatwave around the Philippines and Indonesia is increasing slightly in both area and intensity, with moderate and strong categories.
The marine heatwave in the central South Pacific, around 110°W, remains stable in terms of both area and intensity, with mostly moderate conditions. The marine heatwave south of New Zealand remains stable, with a mix of moderate and strong conditions.
The marine heatwave, extending from 50°E to 90°E in longitude and 45°S to 60°S in latitude, remains stable in both extent and intensity, with conditions still ranging from moderate to strong.

Marine heatwaves in the Mediterranean basin are decreasing in both area and intensity. Only a few scattered areas classified as moderate remain in the southern half. The marine heatwave south of Sicily is still present, but consists mainly of moderate conditions or, very locally, strong conditions.
The marine heatwave extending from the Bay of Biscay along the northern coast of Spain to the Azores archipelago is growing in both area and intensity, with strong to severe conditions predominating. Off the coast of Norway, the heatwave is decreasing in both area and intensity. A small area of moderate conditions remains.
