The Artificial Intelligence and Earth Observation: from Innovation to Services event took place on 9–10 March 2026 in Brussels, Belgium, bringing together Copernicus stakeholders, including the Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS), to explore how advances in artificial intelligence and Earth observation can accelerate the transition from innovation to operational services. The discussions focused on strengthening synergies between Copernicus, digital technologies and emerging initiatives such as DestinE to better support EU policies.
