The EGU General Assembly 2026 will be held from 3 to 8 May 2026 in Vienna, Austria, and online, bringing together geoscientists from around the world to share and discuss cutting-edge research across all disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences. Organised by the European Geosciences Union (EGU), this hybrid meeting combines traditional scientific sessions with enhanced accessibility and inclusion, offering oral presentations, poster sessions and interactive PICO formats for both in-person and virtual participants.

The event also provides practical support for attendees, including information on venue logistics, accessibility measures, financial support options, and networking activities, and invites participants to engage in a broad range of scientific exchanges, workshops and community events.
