COPERNICUS MARINE – SUPPORT TO COPERNICUS MARINE PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

The objective of this tender is to provide expert support to Mercator Ocean International in the execution of its responsibilities under the Copernicus Marine Service and the WEkEO platform and the Coastal and Arctic Thematic Hubs. This support shall cover three closely connected areas of work:

1. Support to technical coordination and integration of the various Copernicus Marine Service components (Products and Systems).
2. Support to product management and portfolio coordination for the Copernicus Marine Service,
3. Support to product management on the WEkEO platform and its two Thematic Hubs (Coastal & Arctic).

The aim is to ensure:

• Operational continuity across all service components,
• A harmonised and coherent product offer aligned with user and policy expectations,
• Strengthened cross-team coordination and streamlined workflows across domains,
• Continued evolution and responsiveness of the services to new priorities and user needs, including in the context of the Digital Twin Ocean development.

The three work packages described in this document are complementary and interdependent and require close coordination. The contractor is expected to provide a unified and flexible team structure able to deliver on all components and ensure streamlined reporting and management across the contract.
