Mercator Ocean, EUMETSAT & ECMWF are organizing a WEkEO Online Demo on July 2, 2020, 10:00–11:30 am CET.
CONTEXT
In June 2020, a new version (called V1) of the WEkEO service has been launched; it offers a wide range of improvements and new functionalities. The WEkEO V1 cloud platform provides a comprehensive portfolio of original Copernicus Programme and Sentinel satellite data, with harmonized data access, cloud infrastructure and expert user support.
OBJECTIVES OF THE DEMO:
On the occasion of the release of Version 1, EUMETSAT, ECMWF and Mercator-Océan International are pleased to invite you to attend an online demo, whose objective is to introduce you to the new WEkEO functionalities such as a direct, up-to-date, unreplicated access to the entire Copernicus as well as Sentinel portfolios. The agenda is as follows:
- Overview of the WEkEO service (which data and cloud processing capabilities are available, what are the free and paid plans, user support and training agenda) – 30 mins
- Online demonstration of the WEkEO web portal (view, discover, select and download data, register for free plans, register for paid plans, run a jupyter notebook, ask for virtual machines, and run my application on virtual machines) – 40 mins
- Q&A – 20 mins
